Good morning everyone,
Today on the Size Advent Calendar we’re going to examine “A Day In The Life: Christmas Spirit” by RogueFMG. This 31-page comic was first released last year on December 21, 2022, and can be purchased at RogueFMG’s Gumroad store. Customers can purchase this comic in three different editions: Standard for $4 (31 pages in the jpeg file format), Gold for $6 (adds a PDF copy, a single-angle animation, and two height charts), and Platinum for $8 (includes all the aforementioned items plus a double-angle animation, extra angles, and a text-less copy of the comic).

The comic featured a couple consisting of normal-sized man Aidan and giant-sized woman Jala. (SIDE NOTE: Occasionally, his name is spelled on DeviantArt and in Gumroad comic descriptions as “Aiden.”) They were celebrating one last Christmas in their current house before moving to a larger place. The most excitement in the narrative came from a brief growth scene and topless nudity. Which is to say not much happened in this story. There were no sex scenes and there wasn’t any conflict or relationship drama.
No character background or histories were given in this specific comic. The characters were first introduced in late July 2021 via a DeviantArt post, click here to read that, which provided key information. When they first met Jala was a 7-foot tall freshmen on a basketball scholarship at university while Aidan was studying maths (or math/mathematics depending on which side of the Atlantic Ocean you live on).
After a failed start at courtship the pair eventually came together during their final year at university. They moved in together after graduation and their experiences in routine situations have been documented in earlier “A Day In The Life” comics including “At The Pool,” “Date With The Seamstress,” and “College Days.”
Thus, the target audience for Christmas Spirit is a reader who is already familiar with the concept. New readers won’t be given any context and instead will discover a muscular woman who already stands 16’1″ tall (4.90 meters) at the beginning without any explanation for why she’s inhumanly tall! Still, a fan of still-growing and especially muscular giantesses will likely appreciate this comic. New readers are merely advised that not much happens. Overall, this was a quick read suitable for the holiday season.
That’s it for now folks. Come back to There She Grows tomorrow for more Size Advent Calendar goodness!
