Steeleblazer has been making FMG art for well over a decade! His comics are a mix of hand-drawn illustrations and computer-generated imagery (CGI) often employing additional artists and writers. The stories feature feats of strength, female domination (FEMDOM), FMG, giantesses, male muscle drain, women out-muscling men, and more! Check out the 2021 review of Totally Super Spies for my analysis of one of their many action-packed and humor-filled series. #1) Can you tell the readers a little about yourself?
You mostly covered my backstory quite nicely in your summation of my work. A bit about me… I work in technology and one day my goal is to be able to do MFMC full time but the cost of insurance is really high… But, it is a pain to find the time to balance what is writing full time and full time job. But, MFMC is my passion and I love working with all the artists and my co-writer Philip Lawson, and I really love writing and celebrating female muscle strength!
#2) How did you first become interested in buff women?
I’ve always been fascinated by muscles. He-Man, Conan, Beastmaster, and the Ultimate Warrior were some of my early heroes. Dolph Lundgren is one of my favorite actors even over Arnie… And of course I grew up in the late 80s and early 90s and Jean-Claude Van Damme was one of the coolest guys around and I saw Double Impact like 20 times in my childhood, and that had Cory Everson in it… And she always confused me looking at her… And those thighs around his neck, always intrigued me and strangely excited me and yet confused me…
Cory also was a part of my childhood as I saw her in Hercules and even Lois and Clark and I remember her on Home Improvement. That was one feat of strength that I remember to this day with her ripping the magnets out of the concrete. Again I was a bit confused about my feelings, believing that muscles were solely for men… But, also being fascinated by women with it, as I always wanted muscles myself… I no longer lift as I don’t have time for it, but I used to be quite strong in my 20s and 30s. I just want to focus on writing now and anytime that takes me away from writing is something I don’t have time for. I don’t even have time to read like how I used to in my 20’s… I hope to get back to that when/if I retire from tech.
I remember seeing Nemesis 2 when I was a kid and being so uneasy and feeling so strange about Sue Price and also being so damn intrigued by her and at first not really believing she could be a woman. And it was around when I was 13 I really discovered female bodybuilding and that’s when Chyna and Asya and even Midnight were wrestlers on TV. And while they didn’t have too many mixed matches just seeing those beefy, brawny babes compete on the same level as men scared and aroused me. And I loved seeing all those small fbb’s (EDITOR’S NOTE: Female body builders) in TV shows or movies… Like the one fbb in High School High who makes the bid bag thug cower… I loved that moment in that film… And really it was just a whole lot of things, and my love for muscle that made me fall in love with female muscles. My own feelings of being weak and small (as it took me till college to add some serious mass). And then somehow I discovered Andy’s muscle goddesses and from that site one of the first women was Trish Swander I saw and I loved her facial beauty thick muscular arms and insanely wide shoulders, but still long legs, and hourglass figure and big breasts. From the era Denise Hosher, Denise Masino (her one Reg Bradford image of her topless covering up and with the blue tarp background and fem dom black mask scared and excited and turned me on in ways I never knew were possible… and I loved Marianna Komlos, so damn beautiful. And I saw Cory as Marilyn Monroe and fell in love (I wonder if that’s why I created my Marilyn Mon-Swole character)… And then Isabelle Turrell I came across when we both were teens. She’s a little older than me and was always bigger than me, and I loved Sarah Dunlap too. I was so jealous of them. And that’s when I discovered LH-Art’s website (EDITOR’s NOTE: LH stands for site creator Larry Heller) and he had a lot of comics about what I was feeling and dreaming and fantasizing about… Which is the out-muscling genre of femdom, or as I call it femuscle femdom!
And I’ve been hooked ever sense… I got into this by doing digital manipulations or some people called them morphs… I gave some to LH-Art for a free membership that I had for like about a decade… And I even made some animated morphs that I sold to him… And eventually… It took a long time but when I got a computer that could handle Daz 3D and a somewhat regular job I slowly got into 3d rendering… I tried with poser in college, but my computer sucked too bad… So that’s kind of how I feel in love and got started with it… I made morphs for fun and I wanted to make films and went to film school and was always a writer in junior high and high school… And I wrote a few femuscle stories during college. Arms Race and Rose of the West… Both of which I turned into stories… Rose of the West got a massive rewrite and retooled and added a whole new sub story. I actually thought it would be harder to make comics than movies… And I always planned on making like 1 or 2 per year… But, now I make 2-3 comics per month… I’m still hoping to make some movies one day… I kind of have with Taurus productions as I wrote and commissioned 6 Super Lois films… But, I want something more along the quality of AweFilms which I will discuss later. So a future goal is to make some femuscle full length films.
#3) What are a few of your favorite works from other artists and writers?
First I am a huge fan of LH-Art. Mighty Female Muscle Comix could not exist without LH-Art. They were the template I followed and still to this day follow. I’ve made comics with Larry and its an honor to be a part of his legacy. I view the Equalizer illustrated by Yatz to be the greatest female muscle growth and male muscle drain comic ever. I’ve tried to top it, but its just the best ever. I steal from it… I mean… borrow and pay homage to it whenever I can… and as often as I can. I just love so much about it, the retro ray gun. The woman getting so strong and muscular and yet staying so beautiful. The posing and body language for the barbell lifts, the cheerleader page…. Just how women love getting buff and taking over! and all the scenarios depicted!

Another LH-Art comic I need to talk about as it was one of the inspirations for my Ms. Liberty character whom I have written 17 and soon to be 18 issues and eventually a whole lot more, is from his comic American Maid. About a woman special forces solider who parachutes into Germany to kill Hitler’s dominatrix. The comic reads very cinematically and is so damn fun and at times sexy!
Also LH-Art’s All Growth is another inspiration for me as that’s what gave me the idea for my own series of FMG Overload and What A Drain. LH-Art might also be where I first came across male muscle drain… And … I believe I have the most male muscle drain content in the entire web at Mighty Female Muscle Comix. I love it… It’s one of my favorite things to write about.
Also I’m a big fan of AweFilms and I loved their attempts at movies. They don’t make as many movies or narratives anymore… It’s way more time and effort and money and the return isn’t the best… But, his growth experiment is still the best FMG movie ever. And his Gladiatrix is a nice take on the most dangerous game short story. Not the worst version of that story and a fun watch. I also like the SMO and Builtmoore productions. The one with Leilani is my personal favorite. But, Abuser Folly and Bosses Folly are fun too. Interesting sidenote. I bought Abuser Folly from Builtmore a few years ago. Noticed the sound was out of sync and spent 8 hours syncing the sound and then emailed them back and gave them the synced version. And that’s how I came in contact to both Sam and Nercy. Same from SMO and Nercy from Builtmore. Yeah… I love femuscle that much… I even fixed the banner that WPW uses but they haven’t seen my message as they’re still using the older sloppier Photoshop edited one…
I just love helping out where I can…
Also AweFilms has a really cool super soldier serum movie right now that was recently released I think this year. It’s got some really cool feats of strength in it. Not as much of a narrative as I would like, but its a fun short film with some amazing feats of strength. Are the production values perfect … no… But maybe with new technology we can implement some of the tools that bigger productions utilize and make films that blend reality and fantasy better… Oh and I liked the Sam Clench movie too. That had nice feats of strength.
And I should plug Taurus as well… As I remember watching his Trouble at Home 2 movie and realizes that was the closest thing to my Superman/Lois Lane fantasy I ever seen… And I had to custom commission him and we’ve done 6 Super Lois stories together with another person doing a side story unrelated to my series. I think those are fun… Insanely low budget aside you got some nice drama and some romance and some humor and a lot of femuscle femdom!
#4) How would you describe your work?
How Would I describe my own work??? Fun! And frenetic and energetic… But, never slow or dull… I pride myself on my pacing and also generally there are a few big events in each story. I’m a big formula type writer and I do think there is a formula to most MFMC stories and I don’t think that’s a bad thing. My favorite TV shows had a formula, Highlander had one (and there is an episode that I loved at Delila’s Bar where Ritchie lost in arm-wrestling to a beautiful and somewhat buff babe that influenced me no doubt) Also varied I would use to describe MFMC…
First we just published our 300th comic on Shopify. It was a big deal… Personally… I still work a 9-5 job and I’m not rich and its not like fbb’s are tearing off their panties and throwing them at me or flexing out of their bra’s and the bra’s hitting me in the face (I wish). But, here are some of the genres… Femdom, male muscle drain, have some stories that skew towards the horror genre, westerns, sword and sorcery, fantasy, sports, jungle adventures, westerns, superhero, post apocalyptic, furry, war, romance, martial arts, and some sci-fi… I’m not happy with the sci-fi stuff and I’d like to do more, but there are bits of sci-fi in a lot of stories. want to do, but I want to do a Flash Gordon type sci-fi space opera…. And I’ve been writing for the last 8 years a detective story… That will start being released near the end of this year I hope. But, as you can see lots of variety…
But, what’s more is I have over a dozen and growing audio stories. I have 3 that I need to get sound effects recorded for so I can finish. And I started releasing text stories and illustrated stories. Last year I published an amazing western pulp femuscle action adventure yarn that was 15,000 words with amazing illustrations by Lyman Dally… It hasn’t proved popular, but its one of my all time favorite projects. I also wrote the novella Weaker Than My Wife last year and published that and I kind of think that 20,000 word plus story is kind of the quintessential Mighty Female Muscle Comix story. It’s about a guy who can’t grasp that he’s weaker than his wife. It has some steamy bits in it, and some humor, and some humiliation and femuscle femdom, and some snu snu… Just a lot of fun. And I plan on writing and releasing more short stories and have a couple lined up, but there is never enough time and I’m always fighting burnout. Cos I just love writing this stuff, but I need to tell myself to take breaks and go out and enjoy life.
Which I do…
And I have some video production work too that I’ve filmed and have released. And more will be released soon, when I find time to edit them. It’s just never enough time in my week due to me balancing a full time job and trying to keep MFMC production always full bore. The videos of MFMC are unique to my vision of what I like…
But, really if you like male muscle drain you’ll love my work… But, I have female muscle growth that’s outside of male muscle drain and I have a lot of that too. I have good muscle goddesses and bad muscle goddesses and muscle goddesses in between. But, to me I like to view horse play and wrasslin as a form of foreplay… Kind of like when I was a kid and roughhousing with my friends, only its with your girlfriend or wife. No malice in it, just fun wrasslin!
We’ve recently gotten into futa. And I know its not everyone’s cup of tea, but for the last 2 or 3 years the futa stories I’ve released have proven to be hands down the most popular. I won’t lie Muscle Futa is not my favorite, but I actually LOVE WRITING IT. It’s something new and I can do things I’ve never done before. So I’ve found myself having fun writing that. And I hope to explore and expand the content.
I believe your site is more catered to GTS. And that’s something I’ve only dabbled in. I have a quite good epic GTS story called GTS Defense Force and I had such big plans for that series. But, it took like 7 years for me to get my return on investment back… I hope to still make a sequel for it… But, I was hoping to do a trilogy and I was hoping to do a cliffhanger, but that’s something I shy with, as i can take me a year or longer and mostly even longer to finish the story. Right now I’ve got the cliffhanger on Alpha to Beta 4 to resolve and its been a thorn in my side for over a year… But, operation GTS Defense force is basically a Kaiju comic with giant muscle babes beating up giant monsters. It’s great and its fun…
And you know about the Totally Super Spies… I’m probably writing a 5th one in the series soon. And there will be GTS in it. There will always be, that’s kind of the thing with Totally Super Spies… Funny enough that series started as a kind of remake of my School Girls Vs The Terrible Thunder Beast! Which I think is an amazing comic. Great fmg, some good comedy, amazing art by Femfortefan, and it feels like the silly era of Godzilla.
I have some giantess bits in my Kiss of the Dragon Queen series. I think issue 8 of Dragon Queen and issue 4 of Kicking G Verses Kiss of the Dragon Queen are the ones with the best GTS Content. And I also try to include GTS stuff in Amazon Quest as much as possible. But apart from that its mostly just snippets here and there. Like in That Shrinking Feeling I have a bit where the woman is so tall in a nightmare she swallows the man whole… And in Rose of the West in another dream sequence she imagines growing taller than a whole building.
Apart from those mentions a snippet here or there… I’d love to do more… But, it seems muscular giantesses aren’t too popular and they don’t sell better than my normal comics. It seems they sell a bit worse as it divides my audience… Not all bad, the Totally Super Spies are mildly popular, and hence it’s about time for a 5th outing. And I love the fact that I get to have comics with more than 1 issue. That’s a bit rare in indie comics.
So, yeah… I love my comics… If you have follow-up let me know.
#5) Any advice for people who want to create their own illustrated stories?
Any advice… Yes… To quote a shoe brand… Just do it… You want to write, write, you want to draw, draw! You want to make your own comic… Then make it… Make it in 3d if you can’t draw… That’s what I did… Hell I sold my first 3d artwork to Larry… Well I gave it to him for free… As I wanted to sell him muscle drain animations but he didn’t want them… But he gladly took the free images and made a comic out of it… They were crude..> I didn’t know how to pose and move the eyes in the model, and I also didn’t know about lighting and so much other stuff… But, that first comic we made together proved I could do it and do it better. Which I did… And he bought the next batch of artwork which was a huge improvement over the first. Don’t strive for perfection… Just make the best comic or story you can and then once you finish it… Make your next one better. I’m always striving to do better… Hell even use AI if you can’t do 3d… I’ve done AI comics. In some ways they’re more work than a traditional comic and more time… But, I generally work on them when I should be resting… AI to me isn’t a cost saver as I pay and will continue to pay artists to make comics with me. But, it allows me to tell more stories and do certain things that wouldn’t be otherwise possible.
It’s enabled me to create a character called Marilyn Mon-Swole and she’s one of my favorite characters… She’s a top 5 MFMC character and the only character right now that rivals the affection I have for her (besides Ms. Liberty) is Amazing Woman… More on her to come…
But, my point is… do it… There are so many ways to publish your own stuff now. Don’t expect to get rich. Can there be, and is there money to be had… Sure… But, that doesn’t come with a single comic or release, but with a library of them. But, focus on doing your best and having fun… And don’t worry about being rich. Sadly this is a field where you need a 9-5 job… At least at first… It is possible to make enough to live off of. But, it’ll probably take a year or 2 of steady releases to do so.

#6) Do you have any upcoming projects that you would like to mention? What comic will you release next?
The project that I am most excited about is going to be a recurring character on the MFMC Patreon page. Which will get collected into Shopify pdf comic eventually… Probably 2 different ones as I’m thinking there will be Ritz collection and a non ritz collection of her mini comics. But, that’s Amazing Woman. We’ve only got about 8 or so mini comics released, but to me this is some of the best work I’ve ever done. I love the concept. It’s sexy, it’s funny, and generally the goal is a cool superhero feat of strength or super power is featured… So its a lot of fun to write. Lots of boob jokes. And for this year my focus is going to be on her. Even though I know I got to pivot a bit now and start writing the Ms. Liberty stories for next year NOW! And I hope to do another thematic Ms. Liberty story. As one of the best comics I’ve ever written besides the 1st issue of Ms. Liberty is Ms. Liberty’s Love and War. That comic is just so damn good and I love it… I also think since I’m speaking about Ms. Liberty the two-part story Blitzkrieg Battalion illustrated by Lyman Dally is one of the best Ms. Liberty stories I’ve written… And that goes with his Ms. Liberty Vs. The Ladykillers… That was more horror story, but is a top 5 Ms. Liberty comic for me. And Lyman Dally just completed his 12 pages of illustration for his 3 Amazing Woman comics… And they are… AMAZING!!!!
So, yeah… I’m a verbose guy… I love writing… I love writing about femuscle… And I love writing femuscle even more than that. That’s why I think only LH-Art compares to MFMC. And I got even bigger things planned in the future and it’s going to grow bigger and stronger… Just like the muscle babes in all my stories!
