Interview with Size News Global, Dedicated to Informing the Size Community!

Size News Global (SNG) is committed to sharing the best news and content from around the size community! For example, SNG recently provided notice of a new site called OutSized which is intended to replace Coiled Fist. Coiled Fist is a website focused on giants and little guys (catering to gay macrophiles) and has been in operation for two decades, but is scheduled to close at the end of January 2025. Thus, it is big news that a replacement site is in the works! Size News Global also highlights artists and shares links to those talented creators on a daily basis. Furthermore, SNG showcases characters from important size media such as Scott Carey from 1957’s “The Incredible Shrinking Man” and the Giant Squad from Eiichiro Oda’s epic series “One Piece.” This effort includes promoting original characters (OCs) made by creators from across the community. Additionally, they have projects in the works such as a size-themed writing contest inspired by Aborigen’s SizeRiot, which ceased in October 2020. This new as-yet unnamed writing contest is scheduled to debut sometime between May and June 2025. Folks can follow Size News Global via Bluesky and X/Twitter and will soon be able to visit their upcoming website.

#1) Who runs SNG, is it a one-person operation or a team effort? Also, in what general part of the world are you based?

First of all, I want to thank you for interviewing me and providing me a platform to showcase SNG. Currently, Size News Global is a one man operation, heavily assisted by post scheduling programs. The posts you see are typically set up in batches whenever I have the time to sit down and look for content to share, the exception being when I try to report on news. Typically when I try to report on news, I create the post as soon as I discover the subject I want to report.

Once SNG is more established, I certainly do want to create a team so I can focus on other projects. While I’m currently a one man operation, I do want to give credit to two major supporters who have helped encourage me and listen to my late night rambles, those being Bantoras and CuteLittleNightmare. Without them, I wouldn’t have found the motivation to relaunch SNG, more on that later.

As for where I’m based out of? Currently, I live in Washington State, which I consider to be the best state in the US. One of my goals however is to be able to take SNG wherever I go, like when I go to Japan to visit family.

#2) How did you first become interested in size media?

My earliest size memory is one that feels like a dream whenever I remember it. I think I was in kindergarten, maybe first grade? I know, what an early start. It was the Pokemon episode that involved Sabrina, that infamous scene where she looms over the main cast trapped in her dollhouse. For some reason, I was hypnotized by that scene.

Fast forward when I was… around 10 or 12? I was scrolling on early YouTube and saw a clip of the classic Justice League animated show. It was where I was introduced to the character Giganta.  Seeing her… made my body feel weird. And from that moment, my interest in size media was awoken.

#3) What are a few of your favorite art pieces, comics, or stories?

There’s so many to choose from. One of my favorite comics is called “Of Two Worlds”, created by a now sadly inactive user named sketch-reload. It’s an amazing wholesome giantess comic that I always return to read once in a while. As for art, there’s an amazing artist known as Nightcore100 who’s, at the time of this writing, doing his annual art project called “Classical GTS Bundle”. It’s one I hope to partake in one day, whether it’s collaborating with him or putting my own spin to it.

#4) What was the impetus behind the creation of SNG and where do you see SNG heading in the future? Will you eventually write articles covering news of interest to the size community?

I can’t recall what originally inspired me to create Size News Global. If I had to take a guess, prior to getting involved with the size community, I used to run Facebook pages that reposted content. Most involved the popular indy anime RWBY. At the time, I must’ve noticed that nothing like that existed for the size community and boom, Size News Global was born. Originally, SNG started off as a Discord server in 2018. To make a long story short, it was meant to be a hub where creators could share their work, members of the community could exchange info and promote their own brand.

That soon branched off to a series called “SNG Weekly” on my deviantArt account, which was my version of CubedCinder’s VGGTS/ACGTS website. With that series, I tried to create a weekly bulletin board of news I could find within the community and promote certain creators or scenes from the mainstream.

At 19, I tried to be very ambitious with SNG, which eventually led to me becoming “burned out” and quitting the original SNG in 2019. I had too much going on in my personal life and quite honestly wasn’t mature enough to handle such a project at the time. I was proud of the friendships I was able to make at the time, and the very niche influence I was able to have in the community. Anyways, enough with the history lesson.

Where do I see SNG being in the future? The landing page for the size community. When I first became aware of my size fantasy, there didn’t exist a centralized database to learn about the interest. I wish to change that. When someone awakens their size fantasy and wants to learn more about it, Size News Global will serve as their gateway. There will of course be separate versions of SNG that’ll be tailored towards less and more mature audiences. But, in short, an accepted community awaits to guide and inform new members.

The dream of creating a hub, if not the Silk Road, for the size community to take advantage of has not been lost. We all know the struggle of starting out, the feeling of being a micro in a city of giants. I want SNG to be the microscope that reveals the micro to the city and allow them a chance to stand among the giants. I hope that any of this made sense, I’m not exactly good at expressing myself.

Oh yeah, writing articles, almost forgot about that. I do intend to create a news network that either I, or inspiring size journalists, can write and publish articles pertaining to the size community. With the recent revival, I’ve covered events such as the health update for Julia’s Shadow’s surgery to the recent launch of OutSized. Once my daily uploading schedule is finalized, I hope to put more focus on building the “News” in Size News Global.

#5) Can you provide more information on your size-themed writing contest?

During the original run of SNG, I covered a couple of Aborigen’s SizeRiot writing contests, even taking part of the #WritersOct18 contest. I could tell the impact that SizeRiot had on the writing size community, and I hope to fill the void that’s been left behind since its conclusion in 2020. Like the SizeRiot contest, the SNG Writing Contest (name pending) will follow an identical concept. May will serve as the sign-up period, June will serve as the timeframe to write, July will be the voting period. Submissions will be anonymous, and voting will be done by the readers.

I hope to create a platform where inspiring writers catch their big break but also interact and receive feedback from those they might idolize. Should the first event be a success, I hope to do the contest quarterly.

With all the being said, once again, thank you for this opportunity. For those who took the time to read all of this rambling. I thank you as well. If you wish to follow the development of SNG, simply look up Size News Global. If you’re a creator and want to be featured, my DM’s are always open. I look forward to doing business with you. And as always, thank you for your support. Size News Global does not exist without you.
