Interview with Pocket Plum, Artist of Realistically Shaped Women and Really Tiny Micros!

Pocket Plum is an artist who has been active in the size-fetish community for around five years now. Their drawings focus on supremely tall women interacting with tiny people. A few of their characters are aliens such as the gigantic Sa’lade and the even larger Yapapa. They mostly do modern setting slice-of-life art such as a romance series entitled “Doll’s Maid” which features a girl who mysteriously shrank and is being looked after by a maid. Additionally, “Fantasize Parlour” is a parlour in which people can book in, get shrunk, and have fun with their hosts. In Her Hands is an ongoing comic about a girl who’s life changes dramatically after she’s shrunk and given to a total stranger. Pocket also does exclusive size scenario comics for Patreon which are more than just “and then they bang” stories. Pocket created a short comic entitled Pa’Ya’s Incidents which features Zucchini (who stands more than 340 meters tall) from the planet Sa’lade and her substantially bigger girlfriend Pa’Ya from the planet Yapapa. Ninety of these drawings can be viewed for free at DeviantArt. Furthermore, Pocket Plum is open to doing commissions. Folks can follow them via Bluesky, DeviantArt, and X/Twitter. Lastly, folks can support Pocket Plum via Patreon!

#1) Can you tell the readers a little about yourself?

Thanks so much for being interested in me!! So I’m from England, near the Welsh border in the UK. I’m actually a full time illustrator and primarily I’m doing size art most of the time, which I’m extremely fortunate to do!! I trained in Visual Communication at university and worked as a non-size artist on a bunch of cool projects, but I reached a bit of a crisis in life where work was failing & was preparing to end my life. I decided I had nothing to lose at that point and made an account to share drawings of big women.

Most of my work sits on making comics and doing private illustration & animated commissions for people, while managing my Patreon as well. I spent a while making my Fantasize Parlour series, but I mostly really enjoy making one offs with recurring characters!!

#2) How did you first become interested in giantesses and tiny people?

I remember a super Old animation I saw on the front page of YouTube, maybe 2006 or 7. It had a giant woman smooshing a tiny guy between her boobs and I think that permanently altered my brain. From here, I seem to recall various pieces of early size stuff, mostly whatever I could find on YouTube in the late 2000’s, early 2010s.

#3) What are a few of your favorite works from other creators?

There are SO MANY amazing creators works in our community. I’d love to shout out but I’ll try to just stick to a few!! Firstly, I really have to shout out to Ed’n’Em!! Bert’s comics are remarkable and actually helped me to decide drawing size as well! His series Ed’N’Em, and SamIsAnEvilBitch are both sooo good!! Brinbug (@bathynalia.bsky.social‬) also writes really amazing size stories . I’d really recommend reading, especially their Micro May 2025 story ‘Pinned.’

#4) How would you describe your art?

I’d describe my work as pretty grounded. Whether it’s a modern slice of life or fantasy, I enjoy keeping a foot firmly rooted in a shared experience. Sometimes that’s something more tangible someone’s experienced, or more abstract feelings that you can relate to through the lens of size. My work can also be a bit less ‘thinky’, and a lot of the time I do a lot of what I would describe as a “and then they fuck” comic; meaning it’s kind of just focused on the horny fun of the sizey scenario. But even in that, the characters I draw will be grounded and a lot of that is expressed through more realistic body shapes and angles.

A lot of people also say they enjoy my perspective scenes, of which I really enjoy making!! As I primarily make micro art, people stretch and become landscapes to these tinies. So I really love playing with that!!

#5) Do you have any advice for others who want to draw and sell NSFW art?

As a full time size artist I am exceptionally fortunate, however we sadly live in a time where it is extremely difficult to do NSFW art commercially. But, there are still some items of advice I can offer!

Firstly, you have to draw want you want to see. People can tell when your heart isn’t in something, and NSFW enjoyers can tell when ur horny isn’t in it either. Make what you want to the best of your abilities and keep it up.

Next, followers do not equal money. It just doesn’t work like that. If you decide to sell your NSFW work you need to understand that you will need to research avenues of money making. Consider, what do you want to sell? Commissions? Comics? Animations? How will you sell these? Where? How much for? Look at other artists who are making money and analyse what they do.

Finding a niche is extremely helpful in the NSFW art world, but not 100% essential. To be a more technically skilled artist, you will need to train and study, these skills will develop over time. BUT. Technical proficiency does not equal financial success, much less skilled artists can make plenty of money. People do not buy from people they do not like. If your art is great but you act like a prick online, that will affect you.

I can only speak from the perspective of someone in the UK, and recently we have had a new piece of legislation introduced that censors the internet unless you provide information to outside companies to prove your age. This disastrous law has had quite a significant effect on my business, and I am currently trying to figure out the best ways to operate around it. This is to say, you must be prepared to advocate for yourself and others who make NSFW to sell, because those in positions of power have proven constantly that they don’t care about you.

#6) What are the perks available to your Patreon supporters?

So I got some cool stuff available for my Patrons!! I do weekly size sketches for my Tiny Tier peeps, moving up to Mini Tier subs can also get access to my Patreon-exclusive comics. Finally, as well as the previously mentioned rewards, my Micro tier get access to monthly YCHs. (EDITOR’S NOTE: YCH is a initialism of Your Character Here a type of commission where the artist incorporates other people’s characters into a template.) I do a new base each month and my patrons are free to choose from any of the bases I’ve made for their art!!

#7) Are there any upcoming projects you would like to mention?

I tend to have a pretty short turn around time on projects, so I don’t plan too far into the future, but there are a few exciting bits I can share for people to look forward to!! The Doll’s Maid chapter 2 is a thing!! I’m also exploring some (secret) size creations that aren’t limited to the realm of comics, and there’s more short stories coming to my Patreon!!
