Interview with Ink, Talented Artist Focused on Shrinking Women

Ink is a talented artist mainly focused on illustrating shrunken women. However, they have also drawn a number of sexy ladies undergoing a broad range of transformations. These dramatic changes include, but are not limited to, breast expansion, growth into a building-destroying giantess, gender bending, and shrinking. One of my favorites of Ink’s drawings is a black and white drawing of an enormous Diane, from The Seven Deadly Sins franchise created by Nakaba Suzuki, crushing the top of a castle under her derrière. Recently, Ink began the Mini Cafe comic in early May. That series follows the adventures of a young woman called Jezebel who takes a job at a very unusual cafe. Cat girl and cow girl hijinks are involved as well as shrinking down to tiny size! Folks can follow Ink at DeviantArt, Pixiv, and Twitter. They also can support Ink via Fanbox, Patreon, and SubscribeStar.

#1) Can you tell the readers a little about yourself?

I draw the shrinking ladies and other funny stuff such as breast expansion, onahole (sex sleeve/fleshlight) transformations, and whatever people are willing to commission. pretty much my entire life has been spent on the Mexican side of the US-Mexico border, hopping from place to place every couple of years, sometimes months, which has resulted in many unique experiences. I’ve worked many different jobs all over the place ranging from construction, factory work, cheese making to esports coach, social media manager, web developer; focusing more on expanding to online/working from home stuff these past couple of years. My hobbies include drawing, programming games, cooking, gaming and shitposting.

#2) How did you first become interested in erotic transformations?

I have no idea, it just kinda happened. I have an awful long term memory, but it started with shrinking. like I can’t really pinpoint the moment it was shrinking, maybe an amalgamation of various videogame situations, movie scenes or moments in cartoons. I started posting my stuff on a funny site and browsed through other threads with different fetishes. I will sometimes see something I find interesting appear and try to draw it (usually transformation), kinda like a challenge. I guess that it branches off from there.

#3) What are a few of your favorite works from other creators?

I don’t really have any specific favorites. Toyogub is cool, so is West (WMaker777 on Twitter, aka the modern Toyogub). love me some Marushamo, Zoey Mini, Kelerst, Nyama, Weiweimio, Jenny Secret, Seta, Ivelacia, Plushifications, OniOniOgre, LuckyB, Shize, KittenBoogers, Kazuya Zoey. all great stuff that I browse through for inspiration and ideas when needed. Special shoutouts to Herretik!

#4) How would you describe your art?

This is a tough question to answer. So, I don’t really consider my drawings art, in my head that word doesn’t sound right to me for what I do. I just call my stuff drawings or illustrations, I feel art is reserved for something higher (even though I’m not an artsy type of person). the best I can describe it is funny little drawings of curious ideas. an interpretation of a concept onto a canvas. the best I can in making the intangible tangible, one of the reasons why I draw pretty much whatever gets thrown my way.

#5) Any tips for other people who want to sell erotic illustrations?

Depends on what you want. if you’re aiming for the big bucks, focus on more popular stuff such as furry, giantess, futa, etc. if you don’t care on making bank, draw whatever you want. Though be consistent. a lot of online success depends on marketing/reach, so you want to drop your stuff in places wherever it belongs to get those views and clicks.

#6) What are the rewards given to your Patreon supporters?

Right now, it’s around 2 week early access to the comics/series and supporter requests I draw. supporter requests are submissions from my supporters on Fanbox, Patreon, Subscribestar for a week and I work on 5 of those (one per day), so there’s also that as a reward. I’ve been thinking of adding another tier for peeks at game development, but I’m still unsure if I can sustain a healthy amount of updates to justify it.

#7) Do you have any upcoming projects that you’d like to mention?

Currently wrapping up the Mini Cafe comic, starting a new comic in August and slowly developing a game. the comic will likely be about fairies shrinking two girls that encounter them. still unsure of what the game will be exactly, but it’ll be very simple. also lots of commissions, which I’m very thankful to have!
