Interview with Jukes, CGI Artist Creating Sexy Destructive Giantesses!

Jukes is a computer-generated imagery (CGI) artist who uses erotic video games (a.k.a. エロゲ “eroge”) from the Japanese company Illusion, programs such as ハニーセレクト “Honey Select” and Sexyビーチ3 “SexyBeach 3,” to render giants in urban settings. Illusion officially ceased operations last August, but it appears that the company rebranded itself as ILLGAMES and now sells a 3-D adult game called ハニカム “Honey Come.” Jukes first debuted in August 2008 and created a site called “Megamedia.” Now they operate “Megame” (https://megame.jp/). Megame is a compound of “Mega”, “Game,” and “Megami” (“goddess” in Japanese). Megame features giant versions of characters from franchises such as Dead or Alive, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Street Fighter, etc. In addition, there are several of his original giantess characters. Furthermore, Jukes wrote How To’s to help others create their own towering giants in cities on his X/Twitter and website. Fans can follow Jukes at Bluesky (@jukes.megame.jp) and via X/Twitter (@JuneJukes) for the latest updates.

#1) Can you tell the readers a little about yourself?  For example, where do you live and what do you do for a living?

Thank you for interviewing me. My name is June Jukes. I live in the northeast suburb of Tokyo and usually work as a researcher in the field of science and engineering. I used to be a university lecturer; so, I am sometimes called “Jukes-sensei” by my size fetish friends. As you mentioned, I have added MODs into ILLUSION’s 3D eroge (games) to create screenshots and short movies of giantesses or giant couples. I have been doing this since around 2005, so I would say that I am one of the pioneers in this field. At that time, neither MMD nor Blender existed. I developed this method because I didn’t have the talent to draw pictures that would satisfy my excitement, so I wanted an easy method that I could do it. As a result, it may be as difficult as practicing drawing to realize my goal, but with the spirit of a researcher, I did it.

#2) What first made you interested in giantesses?

I think it was a scene from “Doraemon: Nobita’s Little Star Wars” (ドラえもん のび太の宇宙小戦争) a movie that was released in Japan in 1985 and probably aired on TV the same year. Of course, I was not interested in women at that time (I was only 5 years old), but I remember feeling a kind of excitement that I could not understand. After that, I liked the growing scenes of the so-called “Super Sentai” (スーパー戦隊シリーズ) which most Japanese boys of my age watched. (EDITOR’S NOTE: Super Sentai provided the bulk of the footage used to make Power Rangers.)

Though these were mostly male monsters, not female ones. However, sometimes there were some female executives (女幹部) became huge or shot from low angles, and as a teenager I was excited to look for them.

#3) What are a few of your favorite works from other artists?

There are several novels in Japanese that are memorable. 「こびとの国上陸!」is a legendary novel by G-boy, who created Japan’s first size-fetish website in 1997, and has been a giant one-shota (おねショタ) novel since that time. (EDITOR’S NOTE: One-shota is slang for a genre of stories involving older women (onee-san) and younger boys (shota).) 「遼子の嬉しい体験」 is another of my favorite novels. This is a story of three giga-sized girls who continue to destroy and slaughter small males in various situations, and even turn into Futanari.

However, for everyone reading this article, I should still introduce image works and video works. NA (Twitter @NAndeyanenGTS), rakiA (@rakiA00309), 瀬尾 (Seo_t) (@darkness_seo_t2), and 寺田落子 (Terada Ochiko) (@teradaochiko), are my favorites! I also like old works by アルカリ (Arukari), 白兎 (Hakuto), and はちみつ (Hachimitsu @ honey terrace).

#4) Are you a fan of manga like Chieri’s Love is 8 Meters by Mitogawa Wataru, Giant Ojo-sama by Nikumura-Q, or GIGANT by Hiroya Oku?

I like “Giant Oji-Sama” and “GIGANT,” but I’m not a big fan. My size fetish is my sexuality, so I tend to like sexual (at least suggestive) works that can’t be published in general magazines.

#5) Do you read comics from foreign sites like Giantess Club or Giantess Fan? Have you watched any giantess videos from Clips4Sale?

I am not a member of either Giantess Club or Giantess Fan. I get information about paid content of foreign artists’ works through Twitter, DeviantArt and Pixiv. And I purchase their works in various ways.

To name a specific artist, I am a fan of Qjo Jotaro’s works. If I can include free contents, I’m a fan of Ampigi, MinMax3D, GiantessTina, and ylix. And Vivian, who unfortunately passed away, was also a great creator.

I have purchased a small number of video clips from Clips4Sale. My favorite is “Crushed by Cleavage” by Goddess Alexandra Snow.

#6) Please describe your art.

I think my works are “photographs” of giantesses. So, first of all, I finely adjust the angles and lights to make them look beautiful or sexy. That is the most important thing for me, so there may be few angles that exaggerate their gigantic size.

I also love glossy and tight-fitting costumes so I tend to do a lot of that kind of work. It is also my personal taste to have a lot of futanaris and giant couples.

#7) Any upcoming projects you’d like to mention?

No special projects are available. However, after ILLUSION is gone, I believe that the next work of ILLGAMES, the de facto successor of ILLUSION, will be a game that can be shot with realistic shaders. If I can shoot what I want there perhaps I will be able to present you all with more realistic works.

Thank you for doing this interview! ありがとうございました!
