Interview with Lemonfont, Imaginative Creator of Shapeshifting Erotica

Lemonfont is an imaginative artist who has been creating erotic comics for over a decade. He is perhaps best known for “Shapeshifter” starring Michael, Michael’s shapeshifting girlfriend Faye Artemis, and Faye’s sister Dawn. Additionally, Lemonfont drew a multitude of other works such as the clown girl-themed “Nickels,” the devilish “Already a Demon,” dick girl-themed “Epeen,” Kyoto-born busty growing model “Mune Nanaya,” etc. These comics feature a diverse range of themes including, but by no means limited to, cat girls, female breast growth, futanari, gender swapping, green tea-fueled giantess growth, human skin changing into chrome, multiple penises on one person, and muscle growth. He is also open to commissions stating he can fix your ‘0 result’ rule 34 search! Fans can support Lemonfont via Patreon and follow him on Twitter.

#1) Can you tell the readers a little about yourself?

Hello My name is Lemonfont. I’m a nsfw comic artist. I mostly draw transformation focused art and also try to push the envelope for story/characters in erotic works. I’ve been doing this for over a decade and hope to do it for many more to come.

#2) How did you first become interested in drawing erotic comics featuring incredible transformations?

I was inspired by various contemporaries in my space that have done great works in the comic medium and artistry. I felt inspired by Jacqueline’s ‘Girly’ comic. Modeseven’s works. A microdose of Henmaru Machino’s Yumiko chan, Scott McCloud’s Making Comics and even Andrew Hussie’s Homestuck. With that groundwork of design I utilised that to kindle my fascination with transformation-based works. My first break out hit was with Shapeshifter in 2012 and with it’s success and warm reception I felt empowered to do more elaborate and more ambitious works from there.

#3) What are a few of your favorite works from other creators?

I would recommend any works for Blackshirtboy, but in particular I would recommend his Trans Venus inspired series: Hijacked. It has a fun alien possession theme and displays some of their creative world building through their magnificent art styles.

#4) How would you describe your own art?

Easy on the eyes with moments of viscous abundance. I try to ensure that in my comics my utmost importance is clarity, a lack of noise to obfuscate the attention of where I want the reader to see. It is incredibly tempting to go wild with maximalist detail or general craziness. I want my reader to understand everything going on. Even with visual reinforcement through color theory, they should be joyous, afraid, excited, etc. At all the right times. I make great effort to condense character design into their most efficient forms, isolating what it is about them I wish to convey to the audience. With that steady rhythm of elegant design, you can then swell for the chorus in a cacophony of unfettered artistic liberty.

#5) What rewards are provided to your Patreon supporters?

Through pledging to my patreon you are essentially getting to see all of my best content in one place, should the fatigue of social media be too much. Not only that but you will be able to vote on polls, provide feedback, see sketches and concepts and even just message me should you want to.

#6) Any upcoming projects you’d like to mention?

Yes, I will be releasing a growth focused animation called ‘Big For Him’ soon, check that out, it has all the good stuff us size aficionado’s love. Other than that, I hope to do more size related stuff in the future.
