Mainstream Porn #1 – Supergirl XXX: An Extreme Comixxx Parody

The appeal of cosplay lovemaking clashed with the untidiness of wearing boots in bed. With any luck she washed her footwear before hopping into the clean bed!

Good morning everyone,

Today’s post is a bit different. This article is the first entry in a new series which will focus on non-size related pornographic films. My intent is to examine the world of adult films beyond those which feature giants and tinies. I did this before with last year’s Pirates review so let’s retcon Pirates to be Mainstream Porn #0 🙂

Size change will always be the main focus of There She Grows, but man does not live by bread alone. There is value in examining other adult media. If superhero porn parodies are successful then that could led to giantess porn parodies. Deadline reported on February 1, 2024, that Tim Burton will direct an “Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman” remake. Perhaps someone will release an erotic parody to coincide with Burton’s new film? Giantess fans can hope!

This review looks at “Supergirl XXX,” but future posts under the Mainstream Porn umbrella will cover related media such as Axel Braun‘s erotic parodies. Confusingly, Axel also made a film called Supergirl XXX in 2016. I’ll try to get a copy of Axel’s Supergirl XXX to compare and contrast the two. Additionally, this series will look at classics such as “Debbie Does Dallas,” “Sex World,” and “The Devil in Miss Jones.”

Now that I’ve covered the plan for the Mainstream Porn reviews let’s dive into Supergirl XXX!

More busty babes in superhero outfits please!

Extreme Comixxx made Supergirl XXX. Of note, the official web site claimed in early November 2011 that Jerry E owned Extreme Comixxx, but Nelson Ayala, writing for XBIZ, reported that Jerry Cuban was the owner. The image below contains a snippet from ExtremeComixxx.com on the top and a snippet from XBIZ on the bottom. Presumably, Jerry E and Jerry Cuban are the same person.

The company is (or “was,” more on that later) a division of Exquisite Films under the umbrella of Exquisite Multimedia, Inc. According to their web site, Extreme Comixxx had the idea to combine the “two biggest fantasy escapes ever, porn and comics.

I took this snapshot from an archived February 5, 2015 copy of ExtremeComixxx.com at the Wayback Machine.

The company made multiple superhero parodies including “Batgirl XXX,” “Captain America XXX,” “Iron Man XXX,” “Justice League of Porn Star Heroes XXX” an animated film, “The Justice League of Porn Star Heroes” a live-action film, “The XXX Adventures Of Hawkman & Hawkgirl,” and “Thor XXX.” Extreme Comixxx released all those films between 2011 and 2013 plus another film in 2017 which I will discuss later. By the way, writing this review has nearly destroyed the X key on my keyboard 😉

Of interest, Extreme Comixxx created another sex scene featuring Supergirl as part of their “Superheroine 3D” movie.

That movie (or “interactive 3D experience”) consisted of four scenes each with a different comic book character. One of those scenes featured Lexi Belle in the Supergirl costume. The company made a web site to promote the feature, but it’s unclear if they sold the final product to a general audience. I was unable to find a DVD copy for sale or any online footage. Nonetheless, IMDb created an entry for it and RogReviews covered it; so, seemingly the company sent out at least a few copies.

Returning to the main topic of today’s post, the production company filmed Supergirl XXX in March and April 2011 and released it in June of that year. Sinister X directed this film and Alanah Rae played the titular heroine. According to IMDb, Alanah is from New Jersey. Another actress playing Barbara Gordon referenced this fact when she asked if Argo City, Supergirl’s home, was in New Jersey. Sunny Lane played Supergirl’s college roommate Barbara Gordon. Comic fans will recognize Barbara Gordon as Batgirl’s alter-ego and the daughter of Police Commissioner Gordon in the Batman comics. Although, in this instance Barbara never donned the Batgirl costume and was mostly just a horny co-ed. (SIDE NOTE: Sunny Lane looks a bit like actress Alyson Hannigan, from “American Pie” and “How I Met Your Mother,” in my humble opinion.) Andy San Dimas played Natasha Luthor, a relative of Superman’s nemesis Lex Luthor and the villain in this production.

The company promoted Supergirl XXX during the production and invited media to the southern California set. Comic book writer and photographer Dan Wickline visited the set and wrote about his experience in an April 7, 2011 article for Bleeding Cool. Dan praised the production writing:

But the single most important thing I learned on this particular set was about respect. Yes, they’re making a porno and all that goes along with it. The purpose of the script is to get the characters into sexual situations. And they could have simply tossed a woman into the blue and red costume, given her some stiff competition and yelled action. They didn’t. They took the time to create a story that pays respect to the characters they are using and the fans of those characters. They took the time to try and make it Supergirl in a porno instead of just a costume on a sexy woman. And that is a hell of a lot more respect than we got from the folks that brought us the Halle Berry Catwoman movie.

Adult Video News (AVN) sent Mark Kernes to the set. He took several 3D photos which readers can find here.

Turning to the plot, the action begins with Kara Zor-El (a.k.a. Supergirl) sitting in a rather tiny spacecraft. Kara’s parents send her to Earth to escape the destruction of Argo City. All of Argo City left Krypton at the same time as Kal-El (a.k.a. Superman) did. Many years later Argo City is going to explode (for some reason) so it’s time for Supergirl to follow her cousin’s example and travel to Earth.

“So, will the journey be a long one because this escape pod is mighty cramped?”

After crashing on Earth the newly arrived Kryptonian sought out Superman. He helps her adjust to her new home among humans and to attend college as “Linda Lee.” This was likely a callback to Silver Age comics in which Supergirl attended Stanhope College. Overall, the creators worked hard to follow the classic Supergirl origin story and I appreciated that effort.

The college students took part in a number of sexual escapades. These included female masturbation in the shower, one group sex scene, men and women kissing as well as women and women kissing, oral sex including cunnilingus and fellatio, etc. Penetrative male-on-female sex was “bareback” meaning the male performers did not wear condoms. The cast and crew executed the sex scenes well, but those scenes dragged on for too long.

Again with the boots in bed! The actress playing Lois Lane tried to inject humor into the proceedings, but her jokes fell flat.

Eventually, Supergirl (and Barbara) confronted the villain. This final battle even included a reference to the conclusion of 1989’s “Kickboxer” in which fighters wrapped their hands in hemp rope, coated them in sticky resin, and then dipped them in broken glass to make razor-sharp weapons. Except in this film Natasha Luthor dipped sticky tape-covered fists into broken Kryptonite! Not gonna lie, I want DC Comics to include this in a future comic 🙂

“I fight to survive!” Okay, that song was actually from “Bloodsport,” another Jean-Claude Van Damme movie, but it would go well with this scene.

I am reluctant to discuss additional details to avoid spoiling the plot. Yet, I feel it is important to give a heads-up that this was surprisingly violent with two fatal shootings.

Clint Eastwood’s character Will Munny said these words in 1992’s “Unforgiven.”

DC super heroes (particularly Superman) often went to great lengths to avoid killing. On rare occasions, such as in 1988’s comic Superman #22 and in 2013’s film “Man of Steel,” Superman killed dangerous and powerful individuals such as General Zod. Nonetheless, those were rare occurrences and did not appear during the Silver Age from which this parody took its inspiration. Thus, it was surprising to see a “good” character nonchalantly kill someone in a parody which otherwise took pains to respect the source material. Strange that the creators did not make the character in question merely knock out their opponent. Predictably, Supergirl XXX did not explore the consequences of killing. In fact, a sex scene in the college dorm room immediately followed the shooting. This did not ruin the film, the killings were not treated in a serious manner, but it was unexpected. Someone could make an argument that a doctor did not call the time of death thus maybe the shootings were not actually fatal. Perhaps a paramedic rushed in off-screen to save the person and perhaps I’m the Queen of England 😉

Plixar did the visual effects which included brief scenes of Supergirl flying, a bullet bouncing off her eye in a recreation of that scene from 2006’s Superman Returns, heat vision, and X-ray vision. These special effects were not great, but an attempt is better than nothing.

Looks like she is thoroughly burning the lower half of his arm, but no it was only enough heat to compel him to drop the weapon.
X-rays came from her entire face as opposed to only from her eyes.

The dearth of activity indicates that Extreme Comixxx is defunct. Remnants still exist such as their YouTube channel. The channel has not posted any new videos over the last 12 years, but it still hosts a photo shoot and teaser trailer for Supergirl XXX, which folks can view here. The Extreme Comixxx Twitter is still accessible, but last posted in late April 2013. However, extremecomixxx.com is off-line.

Extreme Comixxx released their last work, “Batgirl v Supergirl,” in 2017. Alas, that appears to be merely a box set of “Batgirl XXX” and “Supergirl XXX” (each on their own discs) without any new footage. Therefore, the superhero confrontation in the title never occurs in the actual film. That is more than a little false advertising!

Hot Movies had these customer reviews. (SIDE NOTE: I am puzzled why commenter Doggystyle69 called this a “rip off,” but still gave it a five star rating.)

I have not watched Batgirl v Supergirl, but based on the reviews above and upon examining the individual scenes sold at DVDErotik, link here, I think the “movie” is nothing but old repackaged content. Do not recommend.

In contrast, I do recommend Extreme Comixxx’s Supergirl XXX. It’s not great, but it’s rewarding enough to warrant a viewing, particularly for comic book fans. Furthermore, interested readers can easily find it online.

That’s it for today folks. The next review will cover mainstream media with size elements in the form of a certain 1970s animated series. You could say it will explore the final frontier and boldly go where no man has gone before! Also, be on the lookout for several sequels of shrunken men stories by Albert Robinson. Readers can expect more big beautiful butts and tiny men.

Last, but certainly not least, growth fans can expect clothes-ripping goodness when my upcoming story “Sex God vs the HOA” goes up for sale. Until then, keep growing!

    1. She-Hulk XXX is one of Axel Braun’s parodies. I’ll have to include it when I discuss Axel’s filmography.
