Robin Cradle’s “Huge Bitch”

Greetings everyone,

This review will cover Robin Cradle’s erotic short story “Huge Bitch.” Be advised that this story pushes buttons and stresses boundaries. Specifically, this includes controversial topics like non-consensual sex, pseudo-incest, and demanding presumably heterosexual men get closer than they normally would. (NOTE: One wonders if the author also chose the pen name, “Robin Cradle” which sounds like “robbing the cradle,” to further stir the pot.) Therefore, if you do not want to read about those topics you should skip this review.

First, I want to digress a bit and discuss censorship. Unfortunately, there exists a double standard regarding free speech in the United States. A well-financed HBO series such as Game of Thrones can depict incest by showing the sexual relationship between brother and sister couple Jaime Lannister and Cersei Lannister. Contrast that to the restrictions placed upon professional sex workers. Adult performer Sophie Ladder created “the spreadsheet” which lists the numerous content restrictions in place at different websites which includes, as of this writing, certain sites like Chaturbate which do not allow incest roleplay even if the characters are not biologically related but are merely step-siblings. Why is HBO allowed to depict incest, but Chaturbate cannot? Why does Chaturbate have to follow a different standard than HBO?

A person could argue that HBO’s depictions were not created specifically for sexual gratification in contrast to Chaturbate’s depictions which were created specifically for sexual gratification. To which I counter that regardless of intent the end result is the same. Undoubtedly, at least a few HBO viewers were sexually gratified watching physically attractive performers Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Lena Headey, the actors playing Jaime and Cersei, in a sex scene.

This reminds me of the time, decades ago, when I was on active-duty service in the U.S. military while stationed in southwest Asia. The host nation had strict laws regarding pornographic. Accordingly, we were not allowed to possess pornography. However, we did have access to a movie server full of mainstream films including some rated R. Legend had it that a lieutenant colonel cut out sex scenes from many of those films and pasted them together to create his own makeshift porno. Odds are that at least some of that source material came from HBO. He found sexual gratification in media which was not created specifically or primarily to be sexually gratifying.

To be clear, I do not support real-world incest in any form or fashion. Nor do I enjoy incest roleplay in the fiction I read and watch. However, I do not think it should be banned and strongly believe that all creators, whether they are HBO or a solitary sex worker on Chaturbate, deserve the same right to free speech.

Alright, with that out of the way, let me describe Huge Bitch. Robin Cradle released this story on September 13, 2014. Previously, she had written other stories like “Hot and Mean” of which a snippet appeared at the end of this eBook. (SIDE NOTE: Per Amazon, Huge Bitch is Cradle’s most popular story. That had no bearing on my selection, but I found it interesting.)

The titular Huge Bitch is perhaps surprisingly a young, small woman named Chelsea. Unremarkable and shy, Chelsea heavily relies up her best (only?) friend Veronica to navigate life. The two are high school students, but the text clearly states that Chelsea is eighteen years old. Again, that fits the pattern of pushing boundaries. Was Chelsea underage when later on she had sex with multiple men? No. Was she as young as a person could possibly be without being underage? Yes.

Veronica arranged for an older guy to purchase alcohol for the duo. (NOTE: In the United States the legal drinking age is 21. Except on Laughlin Air Force Base near the Mexican border in the 1990s where a certain eighteen-year-old man once drank too much beer, vomited, then lost memory of the night’s events.) Amidst the young ladies order for various alcoholic spirits was Chelsea’s request for coconut rum. Instead of normal coconut rum the man gave her something that would cause her to rapidly grow taller over the next several days! At least it appeared like the rum was responsible for her growth, but the guy who bought it for the “little chicks” never appeared again. So, the cause for her transformation was ambiguous. No idea if the guy knew that it was a growth formula or how it wound up in a liquor store. Maybe he made the growth formula at home then intended to give it to some chicks and took advantage of their request. Maybe Chelsea had an unprecedented growth spurt and the coconut rum was unrelated.

Regardless, this horny lady with self-esteem issues suddenly gained great physical power and predictably she misused her new strength. The skyscrapers on the cover might cause readers to imagine Chelsea growing to stupendous height, but in the actual narrative she only reached a paltry eight feet tall. However, that is enough to make a person unstoppable in most situations. This included forcing her step-father to have sex with her and then a rough group sex scene which was mostly consensual. Group sex included a bit in which Chelsea told the men to place their cocks side-by-side.

On the plus side, Chelsea’s representation felt spot on. To include the bit where she vomits upon a young man who she painfully desires. The friendship between Chelsea and Veronica was also believable.

Sex with your step-parent is not good, obviously. However, it was in keeping with her characterization. This was a short story so there was no conclusion in which Chelsea had to deal with consequences. Instead, after fucking four guys Chelsea closed the narrative imagining what she would do to her long-time crush Kole.

Overall, I recommend Huge Bitch to fans of cruel giantesses. It is a challenging read and not for everyone. Yet, it is an accurate depiction of what many young people would do if they abruptly acquired great physical power.
