Four New Albert Robinson Sequels about Tiny Men!

Good morning everyone,

Today we’re going to revisit the world of shrunken men exploring women’s bodies as detailed in Albert Robinson’s stories. There She Grows has already covered a number of Robinson’s stories including a few which his wife Lynn McKnotte inspired and/or co-wrote. (SIDE NOTE: Click here to read an interview with Robinson.)

If you like women shoving tiny men into their butts or tiny men enthusiastically diving between a woman’s butt-cheeks then I do hope you are already familiar with Robinson’s work. Readers who enjoy that trope, but have never read a Robinson story would be well-served to check them out!

As the title says all four of today’s stories are sequels. Accordingly, they did not introduce the process or technology used to shrink people. Those details were established in the initial entries of their respective series.

This post will review “Her Little Cub II: Home Sweet Home,” “Secrets and Shenanigans II: Oral Escapades,” “Spicing Up a Marriage II: Sorority Survival,” and “The Influencer II: At The Fans’ Mercy.” (FULL DISCLOSURE: Robinson provided review copies.) Each is a quick read and cost a dollar, $0.99 to be specific, or can be read via Kindle Unlimited membership.

This next bit may surprise folks since I typically examine stories from the customer’s perspective, but I think these stories are under priced. Based on the experience of writing my own stories I know first hand the amount of time and effort which is required. Creating an initial concept then refining that into a cohesive and understandable narrative requires work. Not to put too fine a point on this concern, but writers need to eat. Accordingly, I suggest raising the prices to $2.99 each. Is there anyone reading this review who can afford one dollar, but not three? Personally, I think both prices are affordable. A reductive approach would assume that lower price equals better; ergo, a $0.99 story is preferable than $2.99. Of course, this is relative. At some point a price would indeed become unreasonable if not outright unaffordable. I would balk at paying $100 for a short story. However, $3 is still perfectly reasonable. What do you, the reader, think? Would you skip a story that costs three dollars and only buy it if cost a dollar? Let me know in the comments below or via e-mail!

Now let’s dig into the four sequels. The longest, Spicing Up a Marriage II, is 38 pages long on the Amazon Kindle.

Of note, most of these sequels are longer than the originals. For instance, The Influencer (click here for that review) was only 24 pages long compared to the sequel which was 30 pages. Spicing Up a Marriage (click here for that review) was relatively short, only 25 pages long, compared to its sequel which was 13 pages longer. Her Little Cub (click here for that review) was 32 pages long compared to the sequel which was 3 pages longer. The only exception to this trend was Secrets and Shenanigans (click here for that review) which was longer, 38 pages in total, compared to its sequel which was 4 pages shorter.

They all feature small men who were three inches tall or smaller. There were no shrunken women or any women who grow larger than normal. Additionally, the focus was on erotic interactions and not on the shrinking process. Most of the tiny men (except Al who goes from 3 inches at the most to 0.5 inches at the least in Secrets and Shenanigans II) stayed the same size throughout their adventures.

This review will not disclose all the plot points in these works. Instead, this will provide a brief overview. Out of the four Her Little Cub II had the most romance. It included a date, complete with a rose petal path and a fancy dinner prepared by a personal chef, between tiny Ryan and his comparatively huge love interest Marilyn. Those two were not married so there was a theme of building connection and trust between them which may lead to a closer romantic relationship. Similarly, Secrets and Shenanigans II showcased a happily married couple exploring the erotic possibilities of size changing which included a new spin on oral sex in an activity they call “nibbling four ways.”

(SIDE NOTE: Secrets and Shenanigans includes the acronym TSP meaning “Tiny Side Piece” and references to “My TSP.” That may amuse U.S. Government employees who are accustomed to TSP meaning “Thrift Savings Plan,” a retirement contribution plan. There is also a “My TSP” which serves as a guide to that retirement plan.)

Toward the rougher extreme, meaning involving dubious if not complete lack of consent, were Spicing Up a Marriage II and The Influencer II. Both included scenes in which a small man was forced to partake in sex. Although, those two stories also had scenes in which a so-called “giantess” expressed concern for the well-being of their tiny sex partner. Furthermore, no one was killed or permanently injured nor were the interactions bloody. Normally my intent in reviews is to avoid spoilers, but in this case it is necessary to report that there was the threat of incestuous sexual assault in Spicing Up a Marriage II. There was only threat it was never actually carried out. That detail may be a bit of a spoiler, but a necessary one so customers realize what type of story they are purchasing. In general, it would be inaccurate to call these stories overly cruel. There are other tiny men tales which are much more graphic in their depictions and which include more finality in the fate of the tinies. (NOTE: For an illuminating examination of lethality in size fantasy check out Olo’s “Morts, Grandes et Petites.”)

As far as areas to improve there were a few small typos. For example, “… kind of a nighty thing for us.” from Secrets and Shenanigans II. “Nighty” should have been “nightly.” Additionally, the wife’s name in Spicing Up a Marriage II was “Stacy,” but her name was misspelled as “Stace” on five occasions. Obviously, those minor errors did not appreciably affect comprehension and the stories were perfectly understandable.

Overall, I recommend all four of these sequels to fans of tiny men! Such fans can find these stories (three of them are collected together in “A Shrunken Man Anthology: The Third Ten!“) and more at the following link: https://www.amazon.com/stores/Albert-Robinson/author/B08CHKZPC1

That’s it for now folks. My next endeavor will be to create a video essay about Village of the Giants. This will be similar to the Love Letter to Nancy Archer on YouTube. The *hope* is to complete this video before the end of the month, but no promises! In-depth video essays are a lot of work and may take longer than expected.

Until then, keep growing!
