Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) Roleplay Inspired by Alice in Wonderland by JuIieta

Good morning everyone,

I’m ashamed to admit that I originally intended to cover a size-themed autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) creation many months ago. Njord and I discussed size-themed ASMR videos way back in late October 2019 ❗ Due to various legitimate reasons and some less legitimate excuses, I kept postponing the task until this very day.

However, that lamentable trend ends now! It shall be today, not one more day later, when this review is posted. Nothing shall oppose my assigned task. I have drawn the proverbial line in the sand. This far, no further!

Therefore, let us begin:

Many of the size-themed ASMR videos on YouTube omit transformation or change in size. Thus, I sought out one that did. Accordingly, I found the 13 and a half minutes long “ASMR Roleplay Inspired by Alice in Wonderland” by Julieta. Julieta is from Mexico and primarily makes videos in English, but also some in Spanish. (NOTE: Her focus is on ASMR, not specifically on size-themed works.)

2 - Appreciate the labeled subdivisions
I appreciated the annotated sections! Most YouTube videos do not have this feature.
3 - Also like the timestamps
❤ the timestamps 😀

Dictionary.com defines ASMR as “… a calming, pleasurable feeling often accompanied by a tingling sensation.” ASMR is achieved by performers running fingernails over a hard surface, tapping their fingers, whispering lines, etc.

I am far from an expert; however, based on my limited experience, I believe Julieta performs ASMR well.

4 - Drink Me
After falling down the rabbit hole, Alice shrinks after consuming this bottle’s contents.

Transformations are accompanied by sound effects, and after the process begins the background abruptly changes to reflect her new size. It’s not totally effective, but in fairness many other performers do not apply that much effort.

Additionally, credit where credit is due, the use of multiple props was a very nice touch. For instance, three different cookie boxes were utilized to depict Alice’s change in size.

Here is the first prop cookie box, used when Alice is normal size.
6 - Small version of previously used cookie container
This is a tiny cookie box used when Alice is a giant. (NOTE: She continues to whisper, in keeping with the ASMR style, regardless of how big she gets.)

Lastly, here is the cookie box when Alice is tiny.

In the same manner, multiple cookies were also used:

5 - Nice props
Like the box itself, there were regular, small, and giant cookies.

I’d love to see this level of dedication applied to giantess videos. A simple matter of making and using props of multiple sizes really helps sell the illusion of changing size.

I also appreciate Julieta’s performance and her paraphrase of many lines from the original “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll. She doesn’t quote lines verbatim, but she certainly gets the spirit of the book’s dialogue. (NOTE: She is the only performer, and thus no one voices other characters such as the White Rabbit, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, etc.)

Overall, I don’t typically seek out ASMR, but I think size fans will appreciate this particular implementation. You can view (and most importantly hear) Alice in Wonderland by JuIieta at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sr2n2EgL7Bs
